Ms. Niharika Gaur
Associate Director – Wadhwani Entrepreneur

She manages the Learning Journeys for all global entrepreneurship faculty and vocational skills educators training them on Wadhwani Foundation Courses.

She began her career with Banking and Financial Services with HDFC Bank and HSBC being part of both Business Development and Risk Analysis. During this stint she worked extensively with small and medium enterprises analyzing their growth trajectories and funding requirements. The world of teaching and training has always held a certain lure for her and it was this “calling of the heart” and some providence that led to her to change course. She branched out into corporate training and instructional design with a startup for 6 years and helped them grow 5x in revenue through high-value deals and robust operational processes. During this time she was also invited by MBA colleges to conduct courses on Banking, Finance and Strategy, where she interacted extensively with young college students. Joining Wadhwani Foundation in its Global University team has opened up the digital learning world for her and every day she sees herself challenging the status quo and complacency.

Niharika is extremely passionate about virtual learning and making meaning connections in this increasingly digital world. She is instrumental getting educators upskilled on the Wadhwani Foundation Courses and deliver superior classrooms for their students.

Coming from the field of learning and development, where teaching took place in the physical classroom, she is determined to find new and innovative ways bridge the digital divide that separates teachers from their learners. She believes that learning today can happen on the go – anytime, anywhere and superior learning experiences can be created with careful thoughtful deliberation and relentless empathy with the learner.
