Mr. Saurabh Srivastava is one of India’s leading entrepreneurs, investors and institution builders, widely acknowledged as one of the architects of the Indian IT Industry and as leading the creation of a vibrant entrepreneurial eco system in India. The Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has presented him an Award for contribution to the Indian IT Industry and the President of India has awarded him the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian honours.
He co-founded and Chaired key institutions of modern India focussed on IT and entrepreneurship: NASSCOM( Indian IT Industry body); Indian Venture Capital Association; TiE NCR ( the world’s largest organization focussed on entrepreneurship with 15,000 members across 14 countries); Indian Angel Network, now the world’s largest angel investor group with over 150 portfolio companies, 500+ investor members globally and operations in 8 locations, including London and Israel).
After a successful stint in the US and India with IBM and Unisys, he founded several successful IT companies including one which was ranked amongst the top 15 companies in India and was listed, post merger, on the London Stock Exchange with revenues of $800 mill. He also founded India’s first private sector VC Fund which created companies like India Bulls and Avendus. He has been involved in investing in around 100 start-ups and has personally mentored hundreds of entrepreneurs. He serves/has served on the boards of reputed public companies in the US, UK and India.
His public service commitments have included the National Innovation Council, SEBI Committee on Alternative Investment Funds, Software Technology Parks of India , Investment Committee of the Indian Government’s Fund of Funds, Bombay Stock Exchange Hi-Tech Advisory Panel ,Telecom Centre of Excellence, Railway Expert Committee, PM’s Empowered Committee for Awards on Excellence in Public Administration and the National Expert Advisory Committee on Innovation, Incubation and Technology Entrepreneurship.
He is a co-founder of Ashoka University, served on the Advisory Board of Imperial College Business School, London and was adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at IIT Mumbai. He has a Masters from Harvard University, a B Tech from IIT Kanpur. Other Awards include “Distinguished Alumnus Award” from IIT, the Data Quest Lifetime Achievement Award for IT, Patrick J McGovern Lifetime Achievement Award for Entrepreneurship and an Honorary Doctorate in Technology from the University of Wolverhampton, UK.
Prof. Rajeev Tripathi completed his B. Tech in 1986, M. Tech. in 1992 and PhD in 1998 from the University of Allahabad. He joined MNNIT Allahabad as a faculty member in 1988 and is currently a Professor since 2005. He was faculty member at The University of The West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad (WI) from 2002 to 2004. He was Visiting Faculty at School of Engineering Liverpool John Moorse University U.K. in the year 1998 and 1999. Besides vast teaching and research experience of around 30 years, he also has a vast administrative experience at MNNIT Allahabad. He worked as Vice-President Gymkhana from 1998 to 2000, Faculty In charge Communications from 1996 to 2013, Coordinator, Quality Improvement Program (QIP) from 2005 to 2016, Chairman, Senate Post Graduate Committee from 2005 to 2009, Dean, Academic Affairs from 2009 to 2011, Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering from 2011 to 2013, and Professor In charge, Training and Placement from 2011 to 2016.
Prof. Tripathi has made pioneering research contributions and has solved a number of open problems. He has published more than 160 papers in international journals and conferences of repute and supervised nineteen Ph.D. students. He has worked closely with Government as well as industry on various problems and has successfully led and completed large projects and programmes at national and international levels. Important among them include sponsored project by Govt. of India and British Govt. under Indo-UK Science and Technology Research Fund and project sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. He is a well-known teacher and mentor who has not only graduated a large number of students and developed well appreciated teaching modules but has also motivated and mentored many student innovation and entrepreneurial activities which have achieved unique successes.
Prof. Tripathi has pioneered personnel and Institute level research collaboration with foreign universities and visited several countries in this regard. Important among them include Liverpool John Moorse University, Liverpool, U.K., The University of The West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad (WI), Barbados campus of University of West Indies, Moncton New Burnswick, Canada, University of Waterloo (UoW), Waterloo, Canada, Spain, U.S.A., etc.
Prof. Tripathi worked as reviewer of many International journals including IEEE Communication Letters, Adhoc Networks, Elsevier, Wireless Personal Communication Springer, International Journal of Electronics, Taylor and Francis, IETE Journal of Research, Taylor and Francis and West Indian Journal of Engineering. He has organized many international conferences in the capacity of conference chair and co-chair and served as program committee of several international conferences of repute in the area of wireless communication and networking.

Dr. Arunabha Mukhopadhyay, is a Professor of Information Technology & Systems Area at Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow). He has obtained his Ph.D. and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), in the area of Management Information Systems. He was awarded the Infosys scholarship during his Ph.D.

Dr. Neetesh Saxena is an Assistant Professor and Lead – Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Security Lab in the School of Computer Science and Informatics at Cardiff University, United Kingdom. Prior to this, he was associated as an Assistant Professor with Bournemouth University, UK, and a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA and Stony Brook University, USA. He earned his PhD on authentication protocols and message security from IIT Indore, India.
He was awarded as a DAAD (Germany) Scholar and a TCS (India) Scholar. He is a recipient of the ComSoc YP and WICE Best Paper Award at IEEE ICC (2017) and the Young Researcher Award by IIT Indore for the President of India Meet (2013).
He is an Academic Panel Adviser for the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) in the UK and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), UK. He was a draft committee member for IEEE Standards, USA (IEEE SA 1912 and P2795). He has published several high-quality papers in IEEE/ACM Transactions and other Journals, as well as in peer-reviewed IEEE/ACM conferences. He has secured more than $1.8 million USD research funding and contributed to several projects by international bodies including in the UK, USA, and India. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Member of the ACM. His current research interests include cyber and communication security, cellular network security, IoT security and privacy, and cyber-physical system security (smart grid, healthcare, manufacturing, and intelligent transportation/electric vehicle).
