Mr. Kumaran Venkatesh has over three decades of work experience in consulting, business development, sales management, marketing operations and executive leadership roles across IT, Semiconductors & Software at MNC’s and Indian companies at Hong Kong, Boston and India. He is a partner at AXLerateNOW focusing on scaling IOT Startups. Prior to his current Startup, he was a Senior Director of Business Development at ARM (Softbank Group) developing IOT, AI/ML, Security, HPC & cloud datacentre market. Prior to ARM, he was with an Industry body on Electronics and Semiconductors where he passionately worked to grow the Electronic System Design & Manufacturing industry as well as created an IOT ecosystem in India. He curated 16 IOT Startups across MedTech, Wearables, Spacetech and mentored, coached and advised them on Execution, Market and funding capital.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Venkatesh was spearheading Intel’s Wind River India business as India Country Manager. He passionately worked to open Wind River India Design Center, which helped Indian customers design world-class embedded solutions for Aerospace, Defence, Networking, Industrial and mobile market. Prior to Wind River, Mr. Venkatesh was Regional Manager (US East and Canada) with Tata Elxsi in the US.
From 1987 to 2003, he held various senior management positions in India and overseas at Modi Olivetti, On Mobile, Motorola, and others.
He is also a well-known personality in the media. His article and opinions are often published in leading technology and business publications. He was also featured in “Next Big Thing” on NDTV Good Times channel as a thought leader.

Mrs. Atreyee Borooah Thekedath holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, Karnataka and a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Central Queensland University, Australia.
After a brief stint at Hewlett Packard Pte Ltd. in Singapore as an IT Solutions Specialist, she quit to start her own company, Web.Com (India) Pvt. Ltd. in 1999, one of Assam’s reputed software company.
She is an alumna of the prestigious Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Program for Women Entrepreneurs and was nominated for the coveted Fortune/U.S. State Department Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership Program. She is a member of the Board of Governors of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Jabalpur under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. She is also an Academic Council member of Assam Women’s University, Jorhat. She was an Independent Director at Balmer Lawrie, a Mini Ratna-I Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India from January 2017 to January 2020. She was a National Council member of CII’s Young Indians and has successfully executed several projects during her tenure.

Mr. Sanjeev Sarma is the founder director of Webx Technologies Private Limited, a technology consulting company that he founded in the year 2001. He has over 19+ years of IT experience in delivering enterprise solutions on Enterprise Software Architecture, Web Platforms and Mobile Technologies. He is a postgraduate in Computer Applications and has worked for multinational companies like ZAP Infotech and IBM Global Services. He started his own software firm “Webx” in the year 2001 and later in 2009 it became private limited (Webx Technologies Private Limited).
At Webx, he is working at consulting, architecture and development of enterprise solutions on the latest web technologies. His award-winning solutions are running in various corporates and govt. departments. He was acknowledged as “Technology Hero” by Microsoft Corporation for the first online bus ticketing system implemented way back in the year 2004 for Assam State Transport Corporation.

Mr. Jyotirmoy Chakravorty (JC) is the founding CEO of Ubona Technologies. Mr. JC holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Assam Engineering College. He has 30 years of professional experience in consulting and software development in leading software companies like CMC ltd, Wipro, eCapital and July systems in the leadership/mentoring roles. He has led several projects in telecommunication, billing and mediation, supply chain, business and operations strategy and customer relationship management. He started Ubona Technologies in the year 2008. Under his leadership, Ubona Technologies developed India’s first speech recognition product, acquired funding, took the product to the market and became a successful and profitable venture.
With deep expertise in last mile communication, internet protocols and technologies, large scalable system design, consumer behavior, payment technologies, he spends most of his time working with senior executives on transformational and disruptive change. Prof. Baruah’s research interest is in Environmental Nanotechnology. His research concept is to make use of inexpensive wet chemical methods to fabricate innovative materials and device components. His research group is using semiconducting and metallic nanomaterials for applications like water purification, contamination sensing and remediation, solar energy harvesting, functional building materials, nanopiezotronics, etc.

He has 3 patents applied for, 1 published and another 3 Invention Disclosure Forms submitted for verification. He has a personal h-index of 31 and i-10 index of 67 with over 4700 citations to his works.
Prof. Baruah is a social entrepreneur and his company Globinno Engineering Solutions is currently manufacturing Nanotechnology based solar powered water purifiers and fruit and vegetable dryers targeted for use by the rural people. His company also manufactures nanomaterials for laboratory use.
