He established ARISE labs, a new initiative to develop affordable products and solutions for India in collaboration with global eco system partners, leveraging smart devices, mobility, cloud and analytics. Assure Health, an end to end tele-health platform developed in ARISE labs for remote cardiac disease management, received Golden Peacock award as most innovative solution at the 24th World congress of Total Quality.

He has been executive council member of India Semiconductor Association (ISA) and member of Core Advisory Group for R&D in electronics to Government of India, NASSCOM engineering forum and board of governors for IIIT, Bhubaneswar. His research interests include global innovation networks, role of IP for emerging market multinationals and social innovation.

He has completed his B.Tech in Electronics and M.Tech in Computer Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. Subsequently he has done his MBA from IIM Bangalore.

His principal areas of research are Embedded Systems, Systems on Chip, Internet of Things, Software Security and Data Analytics. Dr. Mahapatra served as the Chair of the Graduate Admission in CSE Department and directs the Embedded Systems Research Group at Texas A&M University. He also served in the Editorial board of ACM Transactions on Embedded Computing, IEEE Transactions on Parallel Distributed Systems, and EUROSIP Journal on Embedded Systems.

He has published three books and ~200 research articles in the refereed International Journals and Conference Proceedings. Dr. Rabi Mahapatra is a Ford Fellow, BOYS-CAST Fellow, Senior-Member IEEE Computer Society, and was a Distinguished Visitor of IEEE Computer Society.

Dr. Mahapatra has received Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award in 2010 and Best Paper Award in 2018.

Mr. Anilkumar Muniswamy is Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communications from BVB College of Engineering, Hubli, Karnataka University. Post that he earned Diploma in Management from INSEAD, France and Master of Management from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He also completed his International Masters in Practicing Management from Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru.

Mr. Anilkumar Muniswamy, is one of the two founding directors and the driving force behind SLN Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Bengaluru based embedded systems design and manufacturing Company. He started SLN technologies, along with his engineering classmate Mr. D R Subramanyam in the year 1995, with a vision of building a world class technology company in India.

He is also an Independent Director on board of Genus Electrotech Ltd. Shri Anil Kumar was responsible for establishing Genus’ PCB manufacturing facility in the year 2006 from design stage to a complete manufacturing facility on a turnkey basis.

He is also founding director and chairman of Revismak Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Revismak is working in the area of IoT and COVID health related products and it has recently introduced automatic sanitizer dispensers for the safety of people in public places.
