Dr. Omkar Rai is Director General, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) which is the premier government organization working for the promotion of IT/ITES/ESDM industry in India. Dr. Rai has contributed immensely in repositioning STPI with focus on Innovation and dispersal of IT/ESDM industry beyond metros. He brings over 25 years of experience in IT/ESDM sector having unique distinction of working very closely with government and IT/ESDM industry. He has been instrumental in formulating an appropriate interface among Industry, Academia and IT/ESDM Industry. He is working for the formulation of Incubation program and Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for IT/ESDM sector to promote startups, entrepreneurship, innovation and software product creation in the country.

Dr. G S Darbari, having well over 50 yrs. of academic and industry experience,received M.Sc.in Electronics & Ph.D. degrees in Physics from University of Allahabad in 1966, about 4 years Research & teaching experience at Brooklyn Polytech ( now renamed as Polytech University of New York after taking it over by New York University), as Post Doctoral Research Fellow under the sponsorship of US Air Force office of Scientific Research , carried out Research in the area of materials & taught in USA and University of Allahabad.
Founder and Partner, Darbari Industries, managing the manufacturing and R&D unit at Prayagraj, Involved in development and production of energy saving Electronic and Electrical equipments, Won prizes on presentation of papers and hold Indian patents.

Dr. CM Pandey recently retired as Head of department biostatistics and health Informatics SGPGI Lucknow. He is President of International epidemiological Association (IEA). Professor Pandey is 24th president of IEA and first Indian to win this office. He is a noted biostatistician and Public Health export from India. He is alumnus of Banaras Hindu University and has served several prestigious organizations such as John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health USA Concordia University Montreal Canada and Indian Council of Medical Research New Delhi. He has also served in various committees in Ministry of Health Government of India and Department of Science and Technology Government of India. He is currently serving as president of Indian society for Medical statistics.

Professor CM Pandey praised the celebrations of National Technology Day.Encourages students to embrace Science as a career option. The day is vital for engineers, planners, scientists and others who are engaged in nation building and governance.The function highlighted that innovation is the engine for employment, national as well as global growth, sharing of opportunities and competitiveness in today’s world. He told that he was studying at BHU when the Hans aircraft was designed. He told that his mates from BHU took active part in the Pokhran test .He urged the young generation to come forward for the entrepreneurship in Injection Technology. Also, told that the training is must part for the medical students.

Shri Subodh Sachan, Director STPI Head Quarter and CEO of STPINEXT INITIATIVES, is heading pan-India startup initiatives of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) including establishment of domain specific Centres of Excellence in emerging technologies like IoT, AI, BlockChain, AR/VR etc. An IIT Roorkee and IIM Bangalore alumnus, is a senior professional from the Industry who has joined STPI as Director after working in the Industry at Global level in various capacities. He has worked in diversified areas of the technology industry, a major portion of which is into telecom & related fields. In particular, he has been part of start-ups in leadership role, right from inception to successful listing of the company (IPO). On the other side of the industry spectrum, he has also been part of senior management in MNCs and global telecom behemoths like Motorola and Nokia. He has successfully headed the Bangalore chapter of IIM Ahmedabad’s Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE).

Ashish started his first venture at 20. His current company, Diya Technologies, provides specialized assembly equipment and turnkey solutions in manufacturing engineering, IIoT & Industry 4.0. It serves leading automotive OEMs, Railways and general industry from four locations in North India. Diya Technologies focuses on leveraging technology to create differentiators and spur growth.

Ashish always knew that he wanted to be an entrepreneur. His passion for entrepreneurship led him to be a part of the core team that initiated the local chapter of TiE, the world’s leading entrepreneurship organization based out of Silicon Valley.

Apart from looking after his own enterprise and volunteering at TiE, Ashish is always keen to mentor entrepreneurs looking to startup their own ventures, especially those with innovative products and disruptive business models.

Sh. Rajneesh Agrawal is Director, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Noida whose jurisdiction comprises 10 States of Northern India. He is contributing immensely in the repositioning of STPI with focus on innovation and dispersal of the IT/ESDM industry in the northern part of India. Along with the statutory responsibilities with regard to STP and EHTP schemes, he is profoundly contributing for the growth of High-Speed Data Communication services, incubation services and setting up of Centre of Excellence (CoE) for new & emerging technologies like Block-Chain, MedTech, FinTech, ESDM, AI, Data Analytics, etc.

Mr. Surya Kumar Pattanayak is having 24 + years of experience in STPI, presently working as Additional Director and Officer-in-Charge at STPI-Lucknow. He is closely working with state government, academic Institutions and other stakeholders for the promotion of IT/ITES/ESDM industry in the UP region. Prior to Lucknow centre, he has worked in the capacity of Officer-in-Charge at different STPI centres at Rourkela, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, and Patna.

Shri Abhishek Tiwari is Associate Director with the leading global consulting firm, KPMG. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of Strategic consulting, Risk Consulting, Policy formulation and Project Management advising state and national Governments across continents such as Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa. Some representative clients are Reliance Infocomm, British Telecom, Vodafone, Oman Oil, Wrigley, Ministry of Economic Development Government of South Africa, Ministry of Water Government of Saudi Arabia, Ministry of Oil and Energy Government of Oman, Government of Ethiopia, Ministry of Planning Government of Kenya, Government of Karnataka and Government of UP etc.
In his current role he is advising GoUP on strengthening the Startup Ecosystem.
