About this Event
An Outreach Event as a key part of the LEAP AHEAD (Launchpad for Tech Entrepreneurs towards Accelerated Growth and Pioneering AHEAD) aims to connect startups, entrepreneurs, and the larger startup community with LEAP AHEAD Initiative.
Here’s what the event includes:
1. Spreading awareness about STPI’s Startup Initiatives, LEAP AHEAD which also involve initiatives by the Government of India to support startups.
2. Offering guidance to young entrepreneurs, helping them get ready for current STPI programs and initiatives, and preparing them for the next acceleration phase.
3. Inviting registration from promising startups in the region for special support.

Dr. A. V. Ratna Prasad born on 14th November 1968, obtained his B.Tech degree from Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada in 1989, and Master ’s degree from IIT, Kharagpur in 1991 and Ph.D from JNTU, Hyderabad in Mar 2007. Dr. Ratna Prasad served as a Product development Engineer in Ashok Leyland Ltd., Chennai for 2 years and joined V.R. Siddhartha Engineering college as a lecturer in 1992 and presently working as the Principal of the college since May 2014. Dr Prasad is an active researcher in the area of ‘Natural fiber Composites’ and published 60 research papers, in peer-reviewed International and National Journals which are SCI indexed having Thomson Reuters Impact factor and in International Conferences and filed 4 patents. His papers were cited by more than 1000 researchers across the world in 20 countries.

Dr. P V R L Narasimham obtained his B.E from Andhra University in Computer Science Engineering in 1984, and M.E from PSG College of Technology, Bharatiar University, Coimbatore in Electrical Machines in 1997, and Ph.D. from Osmania University, Hyderabad, in 2012. Presently, he is working as a professor & head of the EEE department. He has more than 30 years of teaching experience. He published several national and international journals, reviewer for several reputed journals.

Dr. D. Rajeswara Rao obtained his M. Tech degree from JNTU Kakinada in 2003, and Ph.D. degree form JNTU Hyderabad in 2018. Presently, he is working as a professor & head of the CSE department. He has more than 22 years of teaching experience. He published in several national and international journals, a reviewer for several reputed journals.
