About this Event
An Outreach Event as a key part of the LEAP AHEAD (Launchpad for Tech Entrepreneurs towards Accelerated Growth and Pioneering AHEAD) aims to connect startups, entrepreneurs, and the larger startup community with LEAP AHEAD Initiative.
Here’s what the event includes:
1. Spreading awareness about STPI’s Startup Initiatives, LEAP AHEAD which also involve initiatives by the Government of India to support startups.
2. Offering guidance to young entrepreneurs, helping them get ready for current STPI programs and initiatives, and preparing them for the next acceleration phase.
3. Inviting registration from promising startups in the region for special support.
Addl. Director STPI
Shri Madhurjya Prakash Baruah is currently working as Addl. Director in STPI under Ministry of E&IT, Govt of India in a role which aims to promote IT/ITES operations across the country and create jobs for youths in the process.
With 15+ years of overall professional experience in IT industry and Government operations, his work profile so far has been related to development of a range of embedded solutions and service delivery to the implementation and execution of Government schemes promoting industry. He has worked on various software mobile device platforms like Android, Qualcomm, Samsung mobile platforms, Symbian etc.
His Specialties:Large scale scheme implementation, Startup Promotion, Program management, IT infrastructure management, Software product and solutions development (Embedded applications, Multimedia, Connectivity, RTOS, C/C++/Java, Mobile OS/platforms, Web services etc).
