About this Event
An Outreach Event as a key part of the LEAP AHEAD (Launchpad for Tech Entrepreneurs towards Accelerated Growth and Pioneering AHEAD) aims to connect startups, entrepreneurs, and the larger startup community with LEAP AHEAD Initiative.
Here’s what the event includes:
1. Spreading awareness about STPI’s Startup Initiatives, LEAP AHEAD which also involve initiatives by the Government of India to support startups.
2. Offering guidance to young entrepreneurs, helping them get ready for current STPI programs and initiatives, and preparing them for the next acceleration phase.
3. Inviting registration from promising startups in the region for special support.
Professor & HoD
Dr. Swanirbhar Majumder has more than 15 years of teaching experience since 2006. He is presently working as a Professor in the department of Information Technology, in Tripura University (A Central University), in Tripura since 2020. He had joined the University as an Associate Professor in the Department in 2017. He has been Heading the department since January’2018. Initially he started off as an Assistant Professor, Dept of ECE, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University) under MHRD, Govt. of India in Arunachal Pradesh, way back in 2006. He had completed his B.Tech from North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, M.Tech from University of Calcutta and PhD from Jadavpur University. He has till date guided 5 PhDs and presently 6 candidates are registered under him in Departments of IT. His area of specialization is Biomedical Signal and Image Processing, NLP and soft computing. He has more than 70 publications in various International Journals, Conferences, Books and Book Chapters.
