About this Event
Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS) is STPI’s comprehensive incubation scheme which has a vision to drive the rise of India as a Software Product Nation so as to make India a global player in development, production and supply of Innovative, Efficient and Secure Software Products thus facilitating the growth across the entire spectrum of ICT sector as envisioned in the National Policy on Software Products (NPSP) – 2019.
NGIS has a vision to promote & support innovative start-ups working towards software product development (including embedded electronics) through a synergized pan-India approach. NGIS has been launched from 12 Tier-II locations across India viz. Agartala, Bhilai, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Guwahati, Jaipur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Mohali, Patna & Vijayawada for supporting startups across India.
NextGen Start-up Challenge Contest (CHUNAUTI – Challenge Hunt Under NGIS for Advanced Uninhibited Technology Intervention) is a series of online under NGIS.
CHUNAUTI 5.0, the call for application, is looking to identify and support promising startups working towards building products/solutions in Emerging Tech.

Shri Shibendu Debbarmais Additional Director & OIC of STPI-Agartala. He is having a work experience of 22 years in Academics & Government organisations. Actively involved in implementing various schemes of MeitY, Government of India & STPI for the promotion of IT/ITeS industry in the state of Tripura. He has research publications in conference proceedings and in academic journals. He has received various fellowships to attend international meetings, workshops & conferences.

Prof. Swanirbhar Majumderhas 16+ years of experience in Academics and Research in the fields of Electronics and IT. He has his UG, PG and PhD Engineering qualifications from NEHU, Shillong, University of Calcutta and Jadavpur University of Kolkata respectively. He is working as Professor of Information Technology in Tripura University (A Central University) since 2020. He has guided many BTech, MCA, MTech and PhD (Engg) students in the fields of Electronics and IT. He has collaborated with CDAC/NEILIT/STPI and various Academic institutions like IITs/NITs/CFTIs/Universities of repute as a Mentor, Academician and Researcher.

Dr. Jayanta Pal is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of IT at Tripura University since 2015. He has completed Ph.D. in CSE from NIT Agartala, M.Tech. from Tripura University, B.Tech. from IEM Kolkata. His current research interests includes Quantum-dot Cellular Automata, Cyber Security, Quantum Computing, Cognitive Learning etc. Dr. Pal has more than 10 years of Teaching and Research experience. Presently, he is handling the NGIN project at Tripura University as Member Secretary, sponsored by DIT Tripura.
