Subodh Sachan, Director, STPI-HQ & Managing Director & CEO, STPI Next Initiatives, is heading pan-India startup initiatives of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) including establishment of domain specific Centres of Excellence in emerging technologies like IoT, AI, BlockChain, AR/VR etc. An IIT Roorkee and IIM Bangalore alumnus, is a senior professional from the Industry who has joined STPI as Director after working in the Industry at Global level in various capacities. He has worked in diversified areas of the technology industry, a major portion of which is into telecom & related fields. In particular, he has been part of start-ups in leadership role, right from inception to successful listing of the company (IPO). On the other side of the industry spectrum, he has also been part of senior management in MNCs and global telecom behemoths like Motorola and Nokia. He has successfully headed the Bangalore chapter of IIM Ahmedabad’s Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE).

Shri Kalyan Kar, Co-Founder & Director, InQube Innoventures which incubates “Innovative Inclusive Initiatives”. Kalyan firmly believes that innovative and effective utilization of technology can lead to Equitable, Inclusive & Sustainable growth for the society at large. Currently, Kalyan is involved in incubating several start-ups in the areas of Technology, Education, Healthcare, BPM, Skill Development, Data Analytics and Agriculture. Earlier, Kalyan Co-Founded an US based Healthcare Services company which was finally acquired by the World’s largest employee benefits organization for US$ 140 Million.

Shri Sanjeev Sarma is the Founder Director of Webx Technologies Private Limited, a Technology Consulting company that he founded in the year 2001. He has over 19+ years of IT experience in delivering enterprise solutions on Enterprise Software Architecture, Web Platforms and Mobile Technologies.

A post graduate in Computer Applications, Sanjeev has worked for multinational companies like ZAP Infotech and IBM Global Services and then decided to start his own software firm “Webx” in the year 2001 and later in 2009 it became private limited. i.e “Webx Technologies Private Limited”.

At Webx, Sanjeev is working at consulting, architecture and development of enterprise solutions on the latest web technologies. His Award-Winning Solutions are running in various corporates and Govt. Departments. He was acknowledged as “Technology Hero” by Microsoft Corporation for the first online bus ticketing system implemented way back in the year 2004 for Assam State Transport Corporation.

Currently, Sanjeev is also serving as Member, Advisory Board, Software Technology Parks of India (Assam, Tripura and Meghalaya). Consultant at NF Railways (Cons.) for various IT project & Management Information System.

Shri Shibendu Debbarma is working as Addl. Director, STPI Guwahati, Juridiriction. He has 10+ years of working experience in STPI in different capacities of technical team and administration. More than 11 years of teaching experience in the University. He has core interest on data Network, security, Internet technology and Internet Governance.

Shri Motilal Sharma, Joined STPI in 2008, work experience in providing Exim related services to the IT/ ITeS companies of West Bengal, monitoring setup and initial operationalisation of STPI Agartala, STPI Kohima and a turnkey project for establishment of Manipur IT Park for the Government of Manipur. Worked in collaboration with the respective State Governments of Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh in promoting various Digital India initiatives. Presently working as Joint Director STPI Guwahati and looking after the Incubation, Infra and NEBPS.
