About this Event
An Outreach Event as a key part of the LEAP AHEAD (Launchpad for Tech Entrepreneurs towards Accelerated Growth and Pioneering AHEAD) aims to connect startups, entrepreneurs, and the larger startup community with LEAP AHEAD Initiative.
Here’s what the event includes:
1. Spreading awareness about STPI’s Startup Initiatives, LEAP AHEAD which also involve initiatives by the Government of India to support startups.
2. Offering guidance to young entrepreneurs, helping them get ready for current STPI programs and initiatives, and preparing them for the next acceleration phase.
3. Inviting registration from promising startups in the region for special support.

Born on 10/09/1974
Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering & Head of Department of School of Engineering & Technology in Mizoram University.
Joined as an Associate Professor in Mizoram University in the year 2016 and got promoted to Professor in the year 2019.
Completed Ph.D. from Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University Calcutta in the year 2011
Completed B.Tech & B.Tech from Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University Calcutta in the year 1999 & 2001.”
Addl. Director – STPI
“He is currently working as an Additional Director (Scientist-E), in STPI, under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. He has exposure to various domains with the Govt. of India and IT industry. Possesses strong communication, social skills and is very adept in handling of customers. Has experience working in Information Security Risk Advisory / Consulting as an auditor, implementer and manager. He is involved for over 15 years in the IT/ESDM sector for the promotion of entrepreneurship innovation and product creation in the country. Has been involved in various policy formations for IT/ESDM sector. Has been the speaker, mentor and jury at various events at technical and management institutions. He has a wide range of experience in Project Management and Software Development. Possesses strong technical capabilities and delivered a lot of remarkable projects during this period. He is a science graduate from Kanpur University and has completed his post-graduation (MCA) from U.P. Technical University, Lucknow.
Prior to joining STPI, he served for 5 years in many multinational companies as IBM, Ranbaxy etc. in various capacities. With his academic background, vast knowledge and diverse experience of 20 years, he is continuously supporting and promoting the startups and budding entrepreneurs to reach their goals.
