An Outreach Event as a key part of the LEAP AHEAD (Launchpad for Tech Entrepreneurs towards Accelerated Growth and Pioneering AHEAD) aims to connect startups, entrepreneurs, and the larger startup community with LEAP AHEAD Initiative.
Here’s what the event includes:
1. Spreading awareness about STPI’s Startup Initiatives, LEAP AHEAD which also involve initiatives by the Government of India to support startups.
2. Offering guidance to young entrepreneurs, helping them get ready for current STPI programs and initiatives, and preparing them for the next acceleration phase.
3. Inviting registration from promising startups in the region for special support.

Shri Madhurjya Prakash Baruah, is working as Additional Director, STPI-Guwahati and presently responsible for Start-up Promotion & Project Management activities of the Directorate.
With 16+ years of overall professional experience in IT industry and Government operations, his work profile has been related to the implementation and execution of large scale Government schemes for IT /ITES industry, promoting Start-ups in various Emerging Technology domains, building partnership with various organization/Departments, program management etc. He also has extensive experience in embedded solutions development and have worked on various software mobile device platforms like Android, Qualcomm, Samsung mobile platforms, Symbian etc.
