Prof. Rajat Moona heads the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai, which is one of the six new IITs established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Prof. Moona is also a Professor of Computer Science at IIT Kanpur and has supervised several postgraduate theses. He along with his students and colleagues has authored 10 patents, several research papers and books.

He had been instrumental in defining applications such as smart card driving license, vehicle registration, e-passport, electronic toll collection, mobility card, etc. The research area of Prof. Rajat Moona spans over embedded computing, computer security, VLSI design and Operating Systems.

In the past Prof. Moona was the Director of the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) in capacity of Director General. Prof. Moona is recipient of several awards and recognitions, including Indo-US Science and Technology Fellowship, Poonam and Prabhu Goel Chair Professorship, VASVIK Award for the year 2010, IESA Techno-visionary Award 2014, fellowship of Maharashtra Academy of Sciences 2015 and National award of Election Commission of India 2016 for the best electoral practices.

Prof. Rajat Moona is an active member of the technical committee of Election Commission of India for EVMs and has been instrumental in defining the EVMs and VVPAT. He has also been instrumental in defining national voter service portal and national electoral search for the voters.

He has witnessed the evolution of mobile technology since last decade and has been part of the transformation and changes in mobile space.

He has previously worked with leading product development companies like Autodesk and GlobalLogic. He was one of the founding members of Lambent technologies a leading offshore development company in central India which was acquired by GlobalLogic. A technocrat at soul and entrepreneur at heart Praveen loves technology and transformation it brings.

Mr. Manish Agrawal is currently founder and CEO of Techment Technology, where they build a team of software developers using local talents and working on high end technology products for US and Indian startups. Within 5 year of operation they ramped up the team to 80 developers, working on mobile and web applications and a BPM operation with capacity of 100.

Mr. Manish acquired his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2002 and master’s degree in Engineering from the Purdue University in 2004.

In December 2005, Mr. Manish co-founded Picsquare, his first start-up. As CEO of Picsquare, he was responsible for marketing and business development activities and executing long term vision of Picsquare. He played a key role in raising 2 rounds of investment for Picsquare. In November 2008, Picsquare was acquired by e-commerce portal Infibeam.com.

After Picsquare, Mr. Manish was involved in setting up a steel manufacturing facility with annual production capacity of 1L Metric Tonne.

Apart from Techment, Mr. Manish is currently involved with few startups as mentor and Angel investor. To formalize his interest in start-ups and working with entrepreneurs, he along with fellow investors from Silicon Valley and Singapore has set up a start-up investment venture.

His interests include reading, travelling, meeting and helping young entrepreneurs.

He is an angel investor, and mentor to multiple startups, and works closely with GSF accelerator. Prior to this, he had over a decade of experience in cross -functional leadership roles across marketing, operations, strategy in as diverse verticals as technology, retail, manufacturing.

Mr. Abhitab did his MBA from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis (US) and was awarded Carlson full tuition scholarship. He graduated in Bachelor of Engineering from NIT Jaipur.
