Dr. Omkar Rai is Director General, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) which is the premier government organization working for the promotion of IT/ITES/ESDM industry in India. Dr. Rai has contributed immensely in repositioning STPI with focus on Innovation and dispersal of IT/ESDM industry beyond metros. He brings over 25 years of experience in IT/ESDM sector having unique distinction of working very closely with government and IT/ESDM industry. He has been instrumental in formulating an appropriate interface among Industry, Academia and IT/ESDM Industry. He is working for the formulation of Incubation program and Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for IT/ESDM sector to promote startups, entrepreneurship, innovation and software product creation in the country.

Shri Amit Kumar Sinha is a 1997 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Uttarakhand Cadre and an IIT Roorkee alumnus. Presently he is Inspector General of Police and looking after Fire and Vigilance of Uttarakhand Police. He has also a charge of Director, Forensic Science of Uttarakhand.

Apart from above Shri Sinha is also holding the post of Director-ITDA (Information Technology Development Agency) for State Government of Uttarakhand. He is responsible for driving business & citizen specific digital transformations leveraging state wide area networking, IT operations, IT application consulting and facilitating, adherence to information security, state data centre as a part of Digital India goals laid down for the state of Uttarakhand.

Dr. Dharmendra Singh is Professor & Head Department of Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Roorkee. He completed his PhD from Dept. of Electronics Engineering, Institute of Technology BHU (now IIT (BHU), Varanasi, with over 22+ years’ experience in the areas of Academic/Research. He is also Coordinator for RailTel-IIT Roorkee Centre of Excellence in Telecommunication, Microwave Imaging and Space Technology Application Lab.

Area of Specialization: Wave Propagation, Optical and Microwave Remote Sensing, Polarimetry and Interferometric applications, Image Fusion, Image Processing/Image Analysis, ICT, IoT, Cloud Based Solution, Microwave Imaging, Through Wall Imaging, Ground Penetrating Radar, Terahertz Imaging, Radar Absorbing Materials, Stealth Application, Radar Cross Section Reduction.

Shri Subodh Sachan, Director STPI Head Quarter and CEO of STPINEXT INITIATIVES, is heading pan-India startup initiatives of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) including establishment of domain specific Centres of Excellence in emerging technologies like IoT, AI, BlockChain, AR/VR etc. An IIT Roorkee and IIM Bangalore alumnus, is a senior professional from the Industry who has joined STPI as Director after working in the Industry at Global level in various capacities. He has worked in diversified areas of the technology industry, a major portion of which is into telecom & related fields. In particular, he has been part of start-ups in leadership role, right from inception to successful listing of the company (IPO). On the other side of the industry spectrum, he has also been part of senior management in MNCs and global telecom behemoths like Motorola and Nokia. He has successfully headed the Bangalore chapter of IIM Ahmedabad’s Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE).

Shri Pankaj Gupta is President of Industries Association of Uttarakhand (IAU). He is Co-Founder of Satya Industries. Sh. Gupta is member of various industry/trade associations with like Industries Association of Uttarakhand, State Udyog Mitra Uttarakhand, MSME Board GoI, etc. He completed BSc-Electronics.

He honored as:

• “The economist” has awarded the “certificate of achievement” in may 2006.
• “Rashtriya udyog ratan award” in the year 2008 for excellence in entrepreneurship.
• Honor of Uttarakhand in the year 2010.

Shri Vipul Dawar is Managing Director of Indo German Brakes Pvt. Ltd. He did his schooling from Dehradun and went to university of Pune for his B.E Production, during college days worked extensively in organizing seminars with industry and management institutes to establish Industry Academia connect.

Started his professional career by joining the family business in 1991 and added new product lines, later signed an MOU with a German company in 1996. Established First Indo German joint venture with the new technology in 1998. Over the years this business has grown into a well-established name have received best vendor award from customers twice in a row and now enjoys No.1 position in their field of business, controlling over 35% of market share.
